Friday February 27, 2015

So our social workers have told us to keep weekends fairly low key so Timmy doesn't expect life to be all fun. We have done the best we can but well weekends are meant to be fun right!! I picked Timmy up Friday and we went to the Turners house to play with Grace and they had some presents for him. Kristen got him stuff for his lunch box, legos and Play Doh. Timmy was super excited about the Play Doh and of course wanted to play with it. Timmy LOVES Angry birds so picture here are some of the things he made... Yall he has to mine and David's look how talented he is, I DID NOT HELP at all. He didn't even have a picture for reference except for what was in his brain.

We had such a fun afternoon playing with Grace! We have kept up with all the bedtime routines as much as possible. So We had dinner, played, took a bath, and then he climbed in his bed. We snuggled with him and read books and said goodnite prayers.

Saturday was so much fun. Timmy got to meet his cousins, Hailee and Hannah (and of course his new Aunt Mere and Uncle Brian). We took the kids to Monkey Joes in Greensboro. It is an indoor inflatables park. The kids had soooo much fun! Timmy is soo excited to have cousins!
(Disclaimer... Until Timmy is legally ours we really can't post pics of his whole face hence the TIMMY over his eyes, and you have probably notice all the photos are always the back of his head or whatever... for now it's like Wilson from the show "home improvement" #Throwback LOL)

This particular evening would be David's first nite without me. My friend Kristen, Beth and Weslei helped to coordinate a Friends Shower.  So I left Timmy in David's capable hands and got to have a special evening with friends and celebrate TIMMY!  Pictured here is the cake Beth had gotten me. It said We found our missing piece with a super hero theme. The Invitation Kristen used, It said No matter how motherhood comes it's a miracle. The last Picture is of all of the gifts he got. I am overwhelmed and blessed by the out pouring of love for our precious boy!!!

Signing off,

The MOM

P. S. David did great without me! I had no doubt!
